An enthusiastic teacher, Kath has years of teaching experience and tailors each session to suit the student. Entry into ABRSM exams is possible, but in no way compulsory in order to learn an instrument.
Kath works with Haringey Music Services, Questors Young Musicians Club, and the Arts Revolution in schools across London. She is currently studying part time for her PGCEi in group instrumental teaching, teaches two private studios in Muswell Hill and Teddington, runs early years music workshops in Ealing, and coaches Thames Youth Orchestra’s string section. She previously worked for Southampton Music Services and Music Hub before moving to London to further her performance studies. Her various classes include violin tuition, piano tuition, early years musicianship and singing groups (ages 3-6), and choirs.
She currently has a few available slots for new students (on violin, viola, or piano) – contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or queries.
With the current Covid-19 pandemic, Kath has moved her teaching practice online, and is teaching regularly over Zoom. For more information about this, please click here. This means that, wherever in the world you are, she is available for lessons! For more information and any questions, please either use the contact page here or email her on email@example.com. Her policies and fees for private tuition can be found here.
